TVD patented automatic disc filtration saves water and energy by using air as well as water in the flushing process.
The venturi devices that are inserted at the spine's inlets introduce air during the flushing process to enhance it.
The mixture of air and water enables a more efficient and shorter flushing, therefore saving water, enabling flushing at a low pressure of 1.5 bar and a shortening of the flushing time.
The use of air also cushions the discs, thereby reducing friction and prolonging the life of the disc element.
When the head loss reaches a preset value of 0.5b-0.7b, the controller will start flushing one filter after the other.
Flushing cycle will take from 12 to 30 seconds, depending on the dirt load.
During flushing the flow to the field is uninterrupted.
Minimum flushing pressure required: 1.5bar.
Flushing flow rate at 1.5bar: 6.5m3/h.
