The Rain Bird Manifold, type RB1300 is used with male valves. These manifold systems are ideal for installing in the valve box where space is limited.
The PVC Manifold system RB1300 series have female connectors and therefore should be used with male valves. The manifold system RB1300 has been specially design with a telescoping system and with big o-rings in order to allow valve exchange without any additional work and without using teflon tape for the assembly.
