When do I need to clean or replace the sensors, and how do I clean them?

It is time to clean the sensors if they are slow to respond, if the pH value is adjusted too frequently or if the results of measurements are strange. If the sensors continue to produce strange results from measurements after they have been cleaned, you probably need to replace them.

To clean the sensors, disconnect the connectors from the control cabinet, unscrew the sensors and remove them carefully. Clean the white ring at the bottom with a soft toothbrush and ordinary toothpaste or washing-up liquid for household use. Rinse the sensor off with freshwater, put the Teflon tape back on the screw’s thread and return the sensors to their places.
